Joy mixed doubles tourna-
ment held on Memorial
Day weekend.

Birbeck, Mechanicsburg,
and Sylvia Sieber, Ship-
pensburg, 6-3, 6-1.
To reach the finals
Nikolaus and Treiss defeat-
ed Barry Emick, East
Petersburg, and Pat
Lewicki of Mountville.
Birbeck and Sieber defeat-
ed Pam Milhouse, Leola,
and Don Gilles, Lancaster.

go 40 miles
in Bikeathon

The Cystic F Fibrosis Bikeathon was a big success in

Yates, left, and Shawn Miller, right.
Dennis, 12, of 145 Fairview Ave., Mount Joy, went 18
miles to earn $46 for C.S. research. Shawn, 9, of 28
Vista Drive, Maytown, rode 22 miles and made $25.
The prizes, $10 and $15 certificates, were contributed
by Farmers First Bank, Arnold’s Pontiac, and Columbia
Hardware in Marietta.

2. Consider awarding
bids for storm sewer
construction at Delta St.
3. Consider a request
from Penn Court to alter
the storm sewer design.
4. Receive a report on
the cost to make repairs at
the library.
