Special service at Chiques
Chiques United Metho-
dist Church in RD2 Mount
Joy will have a special
service on May 7th, with
the Rev. Geneva Lasley
preaching. Reprinted below
is a paragraph on Rev.
Lasley from the church:
‘““‘Rev. Lasley moved to
community from California
where she was the Minister
of the Church of Religious
Science, Vallejo, CA. Pre-
sently, she is an affiliate
member of our church. She
is faithful in her attendance
and support, and loved by
those who know her. She
was called to the Ministry
before she was twenty. She
was greatly influenced by
Mr. Daniel E. Hahn. For a
while she ministered to the
criminals at the California
Medical Facility at Vaca-
ville. Many were rehabili-
Wyrtzen will speak on
“Perversion becoming acceptable way of life’
Jack Wyrtzen, Director
of Word of Life In-
ternational at Schroon
Lake, New York will be
speaking in Lancaster on
Sunday, May 7th at 2:30
PM in Mayser Gym at
F&M on the occasion of a
God, Country and Decency
Rally. Wyrtzen recently
stated that America 1s
being flooded with every
kind of a reprobate ped-
dling filth to our nation
until perversion is
becoming an acceptable
way of life to many.
Wyrtzen also stated that
adult bookstores, massage
parlours, homosexuality,
lesbianism, horoscopes,
astrology, alcoholism, ouija
boards, abortion, ERA,
illicit sex and violence on
television are destroying
our nation’s youth. Jack
Wyrtzen asked the
question, “Is there an
answer? Is there a future
for the youth of America?”
Wyrtzen believes the only
answer is for America to
get back to its spiritual
foundations.
Jack Wyrtzen's career is
considered by his friends to
be an indication of what
God can do with a life that
has moved always by faith
and without deviation from
his original intention of
reaching out for teenagers
with the Gospel of Christ.
Jack Wyrtzen
tated under her ministry
and influence. When she
left, many said, ‘God bless
you, Reverend Lasley.’ *’
The service starts at
10:30 AM. Sunday School
starts at 9:15.
The church begins its
summer schedule on June
11th, with Sunday School at
9:00 AM and services at
10:00.
