Board has scheduled a
public forum for Tuesday,
May 2, 1978 at 7:00p.m. in
the high school cafeteria.
An informal meeting is
planned from 7 to 8p.m.,
followed by the public
presentation from 8 to
9p.m.
In other actions, the
Board decided:
-the date for the next
Committee meeting (to
plan 1978-79 budget) will
be Thursday, May 11, at
7:30p.m.:
-to adopt a proposed
1978-79 budget at the May
board meeting and possible
final adoption at June 15
board meeting.

-to deny a request to
gather firewood from the
Governor Dick tract of dead

The 4-H Sequoia Riders
Horse and Pony Club will
meet at 7:30 PM on Mon-
day the 1st at their head-
quarters on Turnpike Rd.

10-trip tickets
On May 1st the Red
Rose busses will start
selling ten-trip transit tick-
ets. These will be sold in
five denominations, corres-
ponding to the five fare
zones. Each ticket will buy
ten rides.
Randler
honored
Pvt. Leslie D. Randler,
the son of Mrs. Fanny E.
Randler of Mount Joy, was
recently named a trainee of
the cycle for the Sth train-
ing brigade at Fort Dix,
NJ. He received the award
for honor, initiative, loyalty
and leadership in basic
training there.
Randler is a 1965 grad-
uate of Donegal High.
Rider on tour
Marine Lance Corporal
Michael Rider, the son of
Mr. and Mrs. J. William
Rider of RD1, Mount Joy,
has started an extended
tour of the Pacific Ocean
with his landing team, One
Slant Three. He will visit
Hong Kong, Taiwan, Ja-
pan, Singapore, Korea and
Indonesia.
Michael is 1976 graduate
