week as Girl Scout Week
for the township.
Gingrich called on the
citizens of the area to
continue to support the Girl

Charles Shellenberger
Word has been received
of the death of Charles
Shellenberger of Philadel-
phia. Mr. Shellenberger, a
WW 1 veteran, was born
and reared in Marietta. He
is survived by three sons -
John, Charles and Robert;
and two sisters - Frances
Hawthorne, Marietta, and
Edna Boger, York.
Mrs. Abner Risser
Mrs Anna K. Risser; 89,
Landis Homes Retirement
Community, Lititz R3, died
at 6:50 a.m. Tuesday at the
home after an illness of
several months.
Formerly of Banbridge
Rl,she has been a guest at
the home for four and a
half years. She died on her
birthday.
Born in EastDonegal
Township, she was a
daughter of the late Samuel

Local Girl Scouts cele-
brated Girl Scout Sunday
by attending their churches
with leaders and parents.
They collected $97.45 for
the Juliette Lowe fund
which will go toward com-
-Strasburg, Penn Manor
and Elizabethtown will play
in the Division II tourna-
ment on Friday, March 17.
The top teams in each
division will play each
other for the tournament
championship on Saturday,
March 18.
All tournament action
begins at 7.30 P.M.
Admission is by donation.
and makeup will be given.
On the 28th a slide show
on county parks and the
fitness trail will be held.
Both are free and start at
7:00 PM.

and the widow of Abner H.
Risser, who died in 1971.
Mrs. Risser was a
graduate of Millersville
Normal School, class of
1910, and taught school for
five years.
She was a member of
Donegal Presbyterian
Church and a Farm
Women's Society. She was
a former treasurer of the
State Association of Farm
Women's Societies.
Survivors include four sons,
Harld K.,Mohrsville, Berks
County;Allen K. Leola RI;
William K., Salunga, and
John K., Dillsburg, 15
grandchildren, six great--
grandchildren, a sister,
Miss Ada R. Kraybill,
Landis Homes Retirement
Community and a brother,
Dr. S.C. Kraybill, Lan-
caster.
