Carolyn LeFever got the most correct answers
Carolyn LeFever is the
winner of last week’s
Mystery Photo contest. She
guessed 4 out of S mystery
photos correctly.
Here are the questions
we asked, and Carolyn’s
answers:
1. Q. — What is it? A. —
“‘Bunches of flowers, wrap-
ped in tissue paper, in
buckets, sold on street
corners.’’ Correct! .
2. Q. — What is it and
when did it fly here? A. —
‘“‘Santa Claus’ beard —
Dec. 2, 1977, Fri. nite.”’
Yes, yes, yes!
3. Q. — What is she
looking at, and where is
she? A. — ‘‘Looking at a
basketball hoop, at the
Donegal High School.”
Correct!
4. Q. — Why (in general
terms) is this man un-
happy? A. — ‘‘He was a
victim of a mock accident.’
Wrong! B. Loercher was
the only contestant who got
this one right: ‘‘He just
had the basketball taken
away from him by Doug
Hopwood.”
5. Q. What does it do? A.
— “It - makes music
(accordion). Well, it’s an
organ, but it does make
music, so Carolyn Lefever

plain how birds can
migrate, or eels find the
Sargasso Sea.
The groundhog, Mar-
mota monax, is also known
as the woodchuck. They
build elaborate burrows
with multiple rooms con-
nected by tunnels.
Groundhogs are about
eighteen inches long and
has coarse fur and long
whiskers.
Woodchucks eat garden
vegetables and some crops,
and are considered a
nuisance by farmers. Thou-
sands of them have been
gassed at a time by the
government.
