Rebecca S. Reno, 76, of
530-A E. Market Street,
Marietta, died Friday at
3:30 PM at the Columbia
Hospital after an illness of
several years.
She was the widow of
William W. Reno, who died
in 1963.
Born in Maytown, she
was the daughter of the
late Harry and Katie
Henderson Sload.
She was baptized in the
Protestant faith and is
survived by one daughter,
Ethel, the wife of Benjamin
H. Landis, Holtwood RDI1;
one grandson; and three
great-grandchildren.
EDNA M. PRESTON
Mrs. Edna M. Preston,
85, of 1060 W. 74th Way,
Plantation, Florida, and
formerly of Marietta, died
on January 16th at the
American Health and Re-
habilitation Center there.
She was the widow of John
F. Preston.
Born in Marietta, she
was a daughter of the late
Pack 136
Pack 136’s committee
met at the home of Robert
W. Mark. Attending were
John Auker, Vaughn
Mark, Victor Wolf, Ann
Joseph P. and Katie A.
Enderline Zink. She was. a
member of the United
Church of Christ in
Marietta, and the Order of
the Eastern Star 422 of
Marietta.
Surviving are a son John
Preston, Plantation, FL,
with whom she lived, and a
brother William Zink of
Marietta. One grandson
also survives.
MILDRED CASSELBERRY
Mildred E. Casselberry,
81, formerly of Marietta,
died on January 16th at
Cornwall Manor Methodist
Home in Lebanon County.
She was the widow of the
Rev. E. Alonzo Casselberry
Jr., the former pastor of
the United Methodist
Church of Marietta. Rev.
Casselberry died in 1971.
Born in Philadelphia, she
lived in Marietta about 8
years, and moved to
Cornwall Manor in 1970.
Surviving her is a
stepdaughter, Mrs. Glenn
Poulton of Mystic Islands,
New Jersey.
Mark, Mary Littlefield,
and Loretta Dimeler. The
next pack meeting will be
at Seiler School on January
25th, at.7:00 PM.
Parrett promoted
J. Samuel - Parrett of
Elizabethtown, vice presi-
dent of the Elizabethtown
office of Commonwealth
National Bank, has been
named branch administrat-
or for the Harrisburg
region, with resonsibility
for ten offices in our area.
Parrett, a graduate of the
Stonier Graduate School of
Banking, Rutgers Univer-
sity, was named manager
of the E-town branch in
1974, and elected vice
president in 1976.
