Members of the Pioneer
Fire Company of Marietta
played Santa Claus last
Saturday, Christmas Eve,
to George Buchanan of
Columbia.
George, a member of the
Pioneer company, was
badly hurt in an auto
accident several years ago,
- and is now unable to work.
The other firemen gathered
the contributed goods they
are posing with above from
local businessmen and
residents. Not shown is a
tree they also obtained for
their friend. Their 2-hour
good-will effort netted
food, money, toys, and

15th. Donald Abel is the
son of Elizabeth Abel and
the late Charles W. Abel,
RD1, Bainbridge. The baby
has been named Charles
W. Abel after his paternal
grandfather.
