Pat Wolfe marries
James B. McAfee
The marriage of Miss
Patricia Ruth Wolfe to Mr.
James Buchanan McAfee
took place on Saturday,
December 17th, at 2:00 PM
at the Mount Joy Church of
God, with the Rev. Ralph
Warner officiating.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Elwood K.
Rice, 222 West Donegal
Street, Mount Joy; and Mr.
and Mrs. Verling E. Wolfe,
Lebanon. She graduated
from Donegal High School.
She is employed by the
Donegal School District.
The bridegroom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs.
Clifford R. McAfee, 145
LaBelle Street, Pittsburgh.
He is a graduate of the
University of Pittsburgh,
with a B.S. in accounting.
He is employed by the Sico
Company, Mount Joy.
Miss Kelly A. Rice,
sister of the bride, Mount
Joy, was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were: Miss
Judy L. Rice, sister of the
bride, Mount Joy; Miss
Doris E. Rice, sister of the
bride, Mount Joy; Miss
Linda Wolfe, sister of the
bride, Lebanon; and Mrs.
Mildred Karolski, sister of
the groom, Pittsburgh.
Flower girl was Miss
Chriscinda J. Wolfe, Mount
Joy. John-Michael Wolfe,
Maryland, was ringbearer.
They are the niece and
nephew of the bride.
Serving as best man was
Michael Duffy, cousin of
the groom, Canada. Ushers
were: David Weaver, New
Jersey; Michael Wolfe,
brother of the bride, Mary-
land; Christopher Rice,
brother of the bride, Mount
Joy; and Emery Karolski,
Pittsburgh.
Soloist was Mrs. Nicola
McNece, and organist was
Miss Carol Huber. Follow-
ing the ceremony a recep-
tion was held in the church
fellowship hall.
The bride wore a gown
of sheer organza over
taffeta. The bodice featured
a sheer, round yoke and a
high neck outlined with
venise lace and cluny lace.
The sheer, full sleeves
were adorned with venise
lace and had cluny lace at
the wrists. The full skirt
fell from a natural waist
highlighted with satin rib-
bon and venise lace and
scallops of cluny lace
adorned the skirt -and
flowed onto the chapel
length train. The bride
chose a cathedral length
mantilla edged in cluny
lace. The Camelot head-
piece was covered with
cluny lace and clusters of
pearls. She carried a
bouquet of white roses,
stephanites, glitter pom
poms and white tipped
holly and evergreens.
Following a wedding trip
to Canada, the couple will
live in Mount Joy.
Money Match tickets
selling well
“Money Match” tickets
have been selling well,
according to the lottery
people. More than half the
total of 30 million printed
have been.processed.
So far 67 $10,000 checks
have been mailed out to
winners. This leaves S8 to
be claimed. Other check
sizes in the Money Match
are $1000, $100, and $50.
