to operate the new water
treatment plant.
Salary increases were
approved for Authority

Frank Zink retired from
the Authority after 20 years
service to his community as
a member. Mr. Zink, of
Jones and Zink, Inc., is
developer of Pennsbury
Manor.

Songs of Christmas
‘‘Songs of Christmas’’ by
the Mount Joy Community
Chorus will be presented
on Sunday the 18th at 7:30
PM in Glossbrenner Meth-
odist Church at Church and
Angle Streets in Mount
Joy.
The chorus will be direct-
ed by Dorothy Schock and
Carole Bubacz will play
piano. Beulah Smith, or-
ganist at Trinity Lutheran,
will perform Emmanuel by
Rossini for the offeratory.
The program will include
The Hallelujah Chorus by
Beethoven, The Spruce
Tree Carol by Warner, the
Straw Carol by Friesen
/Eklund and an Austrian
carol, Still, Still, Still.
The Halleujah Chorus
from Handel’s The Messiah
will conclude the concert.
A free-will offering will
be received.
Reward for rescue
of beautiful Kitty
Wayne Madsen’s cat is
lost.
Wayne, who owns the
Print Shop on West Market
in Marietta, lost the cat
several days ago in the
vicinity of the shop. He is
offering a reward of $5.00
for its return.
The cat, named ‘‘Kitty,”’
is black, long haired, with
yellow eyes and a yellow
collar with bells attached.
The cat is S years old.
Wayne told the Times
that his wife Jackie is
‘‘heartbroken’’ over the
loss of the animal. If you
have any knowledge of
Kitty’s whereabouts, call
Wayne at 426-1441.
Glossbrenner
invites public
Glossbrenner Church in-
vites the public to partici-
pate in their holiday
events this year.
One of the events is on
the 4th Sunday in Advent,
December 18th; the 9:30
morning worship service
will feature several prelude
numbers by the instrumen-
talists of the church.
Renetta Gruber and Bar-
bara Peifer will play a clar-
inet duet, and Cindy
Charles, the Cherub Choir,
and the Chapel-Student

At 7:30 PM the Mount
Joy Community Chorus will
present its Christmas Con-
cert in the church.
Should you care to attend
any of these events, but
have small children, it’s all
right: Nursery care is pro-
vided for all.
