Mowrer, 71, of Marietta, died last week at Lancaster General hos- pital after an illness of several months. She was the wife of Milton H. Mowrer. Born in Mount Joy, she lived for the last 31 years in Marietta. She was a member of the Mount Joy Church of God and the Marietta Senior Citizens’ Club. Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons: Lloyd W. of Middle- town, Donald W. of Lancaster, Milton H., Jr., of Fredericksburg, and Robert W. of Marietta RD1; a daughter, Marian W., wife of Andrew Spinks of Columbus, GA; three grandchildren; and three brothers: George McNamee of Chester, Charles McNamee of Pomeroy, and Howard McNamee of Ches- ter County. IRA K. HUBER Ira K. Huber, 75. of Waynesboro Road, Mount Joy RD2, died unexpect- edly last week at his home. He was a son of the late Maris and Emma Kreider Huber and the husband of Blanche Warner Huber. Born in Strasburg Town- ship, he had been a resident of Mount Joy for the last 40 years. He worked for the General Cigar Co. of Lancaster for 47 years. He was East Donegal tax collector for 16 years, and had been Republican com- mitteeman for the Spring- ville district for 10 years. In addition to his widow, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Edna K. Bushong of Lititz; and a step-sister Myrtle, wife of Charles Blottenberger, Berwyn. EDNA M. GUHL Mrs. Edna M. Guhl, of 90 E. Main Street, Mount Joy, died unexpectedly at the home of her nephew, Richard Weidman, last Saturday. She was 84. A former special educa- tion teacher, retired from her position at Donegal High in 1970. Wanting to keep on working, she then taught for six more years at St. Anne’s Elementary School. She was born in Wil- mington, Del., she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Barton M. Barr. She was the widow of Phares Guhl, who died in 1945S. She received her teach- ing degree from Millers- ville State and later went on to other schools for her Master of Arts degree. She was a member of the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Mount Joy, the Mount Joy Business and Professional Women’s As- sociation, and the Retired Teacher’s Association. She is survived by a r
