Miss Catherine Zeller and Mr. and Mrs. John D. Day were guests of the 37 class members and their mates. Following dinner, each class member shared a memorable moment from his high school years. Mrs. Rudelle Wert, a faculty member, reported the results of a question- naire she sent to DHS CIVIC graduates. The re- sponse indicated that form- er students feel that they would have benefited from more training in proofread- ing and telephone practice. They also felt that more computer experience would have been helpful; it was noted that DHS is now offering a new data processing course - using a computer terminal for an Elizabethtown College com- puter. Former students felt, also, that it would be a good idea to have more preparation for ‘‘office per- sonality relationships.”’ The benefits and prob- lems of the Career Elective Program for seniors were discussed from the point of view of both the school and participating businesses. Representatives of local business attending the meeting were Charles Ricedorf, Dennis Fackler, A skit written by Georgianne Shatto McCue was presented by members of the reunion committee. Group singers were; Claudette Zeller Miller, Shirley Hawthorne Hoover, Loretta Kline Kurtz, Mary Kathryn Landvater Eberly, accompanied and under the direction of Patricia Brooks Eichler. Other performers were; professional singer Nancy Bromer, and Jere Duke; school representa- tives were Ragnar Hall- gren, Donald Drenner, — Shirley Groff Ritten- house; imitation of Johnny Ray — Harold Brandt; cheerleaders — Gerald Berrier, Harold Brandt and Robert Sherk; middle-aged expectant mother — Miriam Oberholtzer Shaffner.
