Harold Keller opens new offices
He and his family worked on new building
Harold Keller, the well
-known auctioneer and real
estate broker, has opened
new offices in Mount Joy.
Keller's new location is
38 W. Main St., a building
he recently purchased.
Mayor James Gingrich
officially welcomed Keller
by cutting the ribbon
during the opening. Others
attending the opening were
the contractor, Jere Miller;
M&E Associates; and Paul
Miller of Dyna Electric.
Mr. and Mrs. Maurice
Marsales, of 34 W. Main,
are the offices neighbors.
They recalled how their
marriage took place in the
office building in 1956,
which at that time was
rented by Mr. and Mrs.
Clair Amway. Mrs. Mar-
sales is the sister of Mr.
Amway.
The new offices reflect
the care the entire Keller
family used in their
renovations. Harold and his
wife, Helen, did the paper-
ing and Helen did most of
the painting. Harold said
the family ‘‘put a lot of
effort into the job."
He noted that the busi-
ness had outgrown the
former offices and that this
was the answer to the
problem.
Keller keeps abreast of
what’s new in real estate
by attending seminars and
courses offered by the
industry. Many long hours
of class and home study go
into making a knowledge-
able real estate broker.
Just recently Keller
completed a course in
the principles of land and
subdivision analysis to
enable him to give better
service to his clients.
He has been in the
business since 1961.
Boy Scouts will
collect papers
in Mount Joy
Boy Scout troop 63 will
collect papers on Saturday,
Nov. 12th, from 8:30 AM
until noon in Mount Joy
and Florin. Please have
papers at the curb for
pickup. If you are missed
or have a large load, call
