1, 1977 August 31, 1977 Obituaries RICHARD F. KAUFFMAN Richard F. Kauffman, 59, of Tucgon, Arizona, and formerly of Mount Joy, died unexpectedly at his home there on Tuesday last week at 11:30 p.m., of natural causes. Kauffman was a former member of the Glossbrenner United Methodist Church in Mount Joy, where he was born, a son of Benjamin F. and Daisy Doutrich Kauffman, 927 A West Main St., Mount Joy. Kauffman, who served in the Air Force for 30 years, was the husband of " Dorothy Schroeder Kauffman. Besides his widow and parents, he is survived by a daughter Kathe, the wife of Michael Frisby, Kaneohe, Hawaii. BEULAH F. HENRY Mrs. Beulah F. Henry, 64, of Garden Court Apart- ments, and formerly of - Columbia, died unexpectedly at her home Tuesday a week ago at 6:15 p.m. She had been under the care of a physician. She was the widow of the late John Elmer Henry. She was a member of the Washington Boro United Methodist Church and the Ladies’ Missionary Society. Born in Marietta, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Ida Sheaffer Hanlen. She is survived by two sons, John Edward Henry, Cranbury, NJ, and Lincoln Henry, Syracuse, NY; eight grandchildren, and one sister, Pearl, wife .of Harold Bankus, Lancaster. RUTH PETER CAMPBELL Mrs. Ruth Peter Campbell, 69, of 341 Cedar Lane, Mount Joy, died at her home on Friday morning. She was the wife of Carl P. Campbell, who is the only survivor. Born in Berlin, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Rosa Guttentag Sommerfeld. She lived in Mount Joy MOUNT JOY, PA the past seven months, having moved here from Brooklyn, N.Y. She lived before that in Paris, France. Mrs. Campbell had been a resident of the U.S. since 1950. FRANCIS L. HUTTER Francis L. Hutter, Sr., retired electrician at the former Olmsted Airforce Base in Middletown, died Monday a week ago at General Hospital, where he had been a patient for two years. He was 86 years old, and lived at Mount Joy RDI. He was the husband of the late Hazel A. Weaver till her death in 1966. Mr. Hutter lived in Mount Joy for 16 years. Before that he lived in Elizabethtown. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Perry Lodge 458 of the Masons, the Zembo Temple in Harrisburg, and the Valley of Harrisburg Lodge of Perfection and Consistory. Hutter is survived by a daughter, Doris, wife of Kenneth Smith, and a son, Robert E. Hutter of Newark, Delaware. He had nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Chestnut St., Marietta, died of a heart attack Tuesday of last week in Gatwick Airport, England. Huck and his wife Edna had been visiting relatives in England. He had been under a physician’s care. Born in Seelyville, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Estella Lutz Huck of Marietta. Since 1974 he had been director for administration at the New Cumberland Army Depot. He began his career as a storekeeper at the Marietta Transportation Depot. During World War II he served for two and a half years with the 386th Bomber Group in England, France, and Belgium. He was a member: of the English United Presbyterian Church in Marietta. He served as both treasurer and trustee there. Huck was a member of the Marietta Lion’s Club, the Mount Joy American Legion, the Elk’s Lodge 1074 in Columbia, Post 5861 of the VFW, the Friendship Fire Company, the Florin Fire Company, and the Elizabethtown Moose Club. In addition to his widow and mother, he is survived by two daughters: Linda, ode dled wife of John E. Winters Jr., Maytown, and Jo Anne, wife of Frank Aument Jr., Mount Joy. A son, Charles E. Huck II, lives in Marietta. Two brothers, Robert, of Bethlehem, and Eugene, of Marietta, GA, also survive. In addition, there are three grandchildren. INFANT The un-named infant son of Robert and Sherry Fitzpatrick Golden, 15 S. Delta St., Mount Joy, was stillborn Sunday night at the Osteopathic Hospital. Besides the parents, the infant is survived by a brother Robert, maternal grandparents, Paul and Gloria Updegraff Fitzpatrick of Mouut Joy, and paternal grandparents, Ada Mae Shank Smoker, Manheim, and Clarence Golden, Lancaster.
