One of the school’s teachers, Betty Hershey, will present a demonstration S.P.A. lesson at the forthcoming workshop. Her experience with S.P.A. in the class- room will be an invaluable help to teachers who are new to S.P.A. According to Leon Good, the kindergarteners at Kraybill Mennonite School did very well with S.P.A. last year. ‘“We like S.P.A. and plan to continue with it as a basic part of our Kindergarten curriculum,” Mr. Good states. ‘‘The teachers like it, too. It is a way to learn that is fun, and all children love the animals of S.P.A.”’ Kraybill Mennonite School now has 200 stu- dents and offers instruction for grades Kindergarten through ninth. Sheetz family celebrates 50th Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Sheetz, 602 Church St., Mount Joy celebrated their SO0th wedding anniversary Sunday at a drop-in party given by their children. The party was held at the Glossbrenner United Methodist Church, Mount Joy. The Sheetzs were married August 6, 1927, in the parsonage of the United Brethren Church, Florin, with the Rev. Deitzler officiating. They have four children: Charles W., Lancaster; Dorothy, wife of Dr. John Mohler, Ann Arbor, Mich.; Harry, Maytown, and Richard, Mount Joy. There are also nine grandchild- ren. Mr. Sheetz was employed by the Fuller Co., Manheim for 32 years prior to his retirement in 1973. Mrs. Sheetz, the 8 former Beulah Hetrich, has bee: employed for a num- ber of years at the State Hospital for Children and Youth, Elizabethtown.
