Hess-Ulrich breaks ground for new building

Last Monday a ground
-breaking ceremony was
‘held at the S-acre site of
the new car dealership
building of Hess-Ulrich.
The building, across from
National Standard on West
Main St. near Mount Joy,
will measure 70 by 192 feet
when it is finished about
four months from now.
Hess-Ulrich moved to
Mount Joy from E-town in
1974. Hess joined the firm
in 1973, 6S years after the
original Ulrich founded it.
Their old building is at
New Haven and West Main
in Mount Joy.
