Chuck Leader participated in the Hanover Heritage Day Run, a 6 mile race. His time was 33:26 for the 6 mile course, which earned him a 9th place finish out of 100 total runners. Leader also placed 3rd in his age bracket (19-29) and receiv- ed a third place ribbon for his efforts. On the same day two other Donegal Pacers (Dave Halbleib and Chuck Ports- er) participated in the American Bank Pagoda Run, held in Reading. This was a tough half marathon course covering 13.1 miles. This time they participated in the Gun Powder Neck 10 mile race held on the Aberdeen Proving Grounds. This race is considered one of the major races held on the east coast. Runners from many states participated. Leader covered the Course in 61:50 for 46th place in a field of 300.
