Rev. Roger Colvin outside St. Mark's
A week ago Roger Colvin
took over pastoral duties at
St. Mark’s United Metho-

‘St. Mark’s is a very
active church. I'd like to
keep it as active as it has
been in the past,” Rev.
Colvin told us. He is
already busy himself, get-
ting acquainted with his
parishioners and. making
hospital visits.

Rev. Colvin, who grew

says, ‘‘but there was no
flash of lightning up’in the
sky —I just decided that I
wanted to spend my life
this way.” He gives a
desire to work with people
as one reason for choosing
New pastor at St. Mark's

DID YOU HEAR? FT RIE. OC QI UT, FW Tr
Mr. and Mrs. Gerald
Judge, of 215 Essex St.,
Marietta, toured Ireland for
nine days, from June 23rd
to July 1st.
Ireland is a pleasant
place to tour, because there
are no bugs there. No one
uses screen doors. Mrs.
Judge saw one butterfly on
the Emerald Isle, however.
Maybe St. Patrick drove
the bugs out along with the
snakes. How come we
never heard about that
before?
