Mount Joy Council agenda
The proposed agenda for
the Mount Joy Borough
Council meeting to be held
on Monday, July 11, 1977,
at: 7:30 p.m., ‘in the
Borough Offices Building,
21 East Main Street,
Mount Joy, is as follows:
1. Receive and discuss a
rate increase request from
Warner Cable TV.
2. Hold the first reading
of Ordinance No. 390
amending the traffic control
ordinance.
3. Consider the final
subdivision plan of J.
Walter and Rachel Heisev
resubdividing existing lots
along Hill Street.
Barn sale
for charity
this month
A barn sale will be held
on Saturday, July 23, from
7 a.m. to 4 p.m., by United
Cerebral Palsy of Lancas-
ter. All proceeds from the
sale will benefit the organ-
ization. The location of the
sale is the Conestoga Pines
Barn on Pitney Road.
The Barn sale will be
held inside the barn on
both floors and tables will
be furnished. Participants
in the sale may rent a
space, contribute items for
sale, sell on consigment, or
they may volunteer to help.
Special items are to be
auctioned throughout the
day and refreshments will
be on sale also.

Elizabethtown operates on
a rolling admissions plan,
making it possible to offer
students admission within a
short time after they have
filed applications.
Students accepted by
Elizabethtown then must
indicate their acceptance of
Marietta Boro Council meeting
meeting Thursday night.
The ordinances will comply
with Pennsylvania Motor
Vehicle Code.
Ordinance to be known
as ‘* 77-9” would regulate
traffic on one way streets.
Violators would be prose-
cuted. Included are these
streets: N. Waterford; N.
New Haven; W. Walnut;
Mulberry; Burgess; Aaron
and Elk Avenue.
