June 29, 1977 Homemaker Program hours The Homemaker Pro- gram of the Visiting Nurse Home Care Association of Lancaster County will oper- ate under expanded hours of daily and weekend service, Robert C. Aims, Project Director, announced today. The new service hours, effective immediately, will be 7 am. to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 7 am. to S p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The change represents the ad- dition of evening and weekend service for the first time. Homemakers provide personal care and help with light housekeeping for in- dividuals who are disabled, ill or incapacitated as a result of old age, and who live at home. They are trained by the Visiting Nurse Home Care Associa- tion and receive ongoing supervision by a registered nurse.
