Summer playground activities begin
Summer activities have
begun at Marietta’s Mem-
orial Park and the Maytown
American Legion play-
ground. They will run for
six weeks.
Hours of supervised ac-

pool. The cost is 25 cents,
and those participating

The rock band ‘‘Max-
well’ will be featured at
the weekly ‘Teen Splash
Party’’ sponsored by the
Mount Joy Lion’s Club on
Wednesday, June 29, at

teaching summer music
program. Forty students
are enrolled in the Monday
section at Maytown school;
24 are enrolled in the
Tuesday section at River-

High on Thursdays. If you
want to enroll, contact Mr.
Shields or simply go to the
schools between 9:00 and
4:00 on thé proper day.

Kim Reighard
is certified in prosthesis
Mr. Kim L. Reighard, a
pharmacist at Hinkle’s
Pharmacy, Columbia, re-
cently attended a week
long seminar in Cincinnati,
Ohio for instruction and
certification in surgical or-
thosis and prosthesis.
The course included lec-
tures on surface anatomy
and workshops on durable
equipment, such as wheel-
chairs, canes, crutches and
patient lifts.
Mr. Reighard joins Mr.
John A. Goshert, R. Ph.
and Mrs. William W.
Bachert on the staff of
Certified Surgical Appli-
ance Technicians at Hink-
le’s Pharmacy.
Albert Reinhold
celebrates his 91st birthday
Albert Reinhold of S.
Clay Street, Marietta, was
guest of honor at his 91st
birthday dinner at Lacy’s
Lounge on Friday, June
3rd. The party was hosted
by his brother and sister-
in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Paul
B. Reinhold of Pittsburg,
for 12 guests (The actual
date of birth is June 13th).
He was also guest of
honor at a similar event in
Lancaster. Weekend guests
were Mr. and Mrs. Edwin
B. Wisner, Gladwynne, Pa.
Mrs. Wisner is a niece of
Mr. Reinholds.
