June 22, 1977 Barbara May marries Gary Mishler Mrs. Gary Mishler The marriage of Miss Barbara May, daughter of the Reverend and Mrs. W.R. May, 60 W. Walnut St. Marietta, to Gary Mish- ler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Mishler, 504 W. First St. Birdsboro, took place on Saturday, June 18, at 2 p.m., at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Cole- brook Road, Marietta. The double ring ceremony was performed by Reverend C. David Godshall. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a full length gown of polyester organza over taf- feta. The bodice was trim- med with Venice lace and featured a V neck outlined with cluny lace. The sheer, slender sleeves were ap- pliqued with Venice lace and had a cluny lace ruffle at the wrists. The A-line skirt fell from an upswept empire waist and was adorned with Venise lace appliques. A Venice lace topped ruffle flowed from the skirt onto the Chapel length train. Cluny lace edged the skirt and train. Her fingertip length mantilla was edged teacher in Daniel with cluny lace and was held by a juliet cap covered with pearls and more cluny lace. She carried a colonial bouquet of roses and dais- es. Maid of honor was Miss Cinda L. Clemson, Her- shey. Bridesmaids were: Miss Sue May, sister of the bride, Marietta and Mrs. Russel Shirk, Elizabeth- town. Karen L. Batdorff, Reading, niece of the groom, was flower girl. Best man was Steven J. Schwouer, Kutztown. Ush- ers were Jonathan May, Brother of the bride, Mari- etta, and Robert E. Berk- ley, Birdsboro. Mrs. David Moyer, Elizabethtown, was organist. Following a reception in the church, the couple left on a trip to the shore. They will reside in Sinking Springs, Pa. The bride is a graduate of Donegal High School and Lancaster General Hospital School of nursing, where she is employed. The groom graduated from Daniel Boone High School, Birdsboro, and West Chest- er State College. He is a Boone School District.
