the U.S.
The president assigned
reports for the next meet-
ing and after the meeting
refreshments were served.
William
Koehler
William P. Koehler, Sr.,
Columbia, has recently ob-
served his 20th year of
service with the United
Telephone Company of
Pennsylvania.
Koehler is a member of
the Independent Telephone
Pioneers Association, an
organization of telephone
employees who are dedi-
cated to community and
social service. He is also a
member of the Columbia
Fireman's Relief Associa-
tion, the Vigiliant Fire
Company and has served
for 1S years as CBAA
Football Coach.
He and his wife, the
former Sally Kise, have
five children.
Rotary
Club
The Bainbridge-Maytown
Rotary Club will sponsor
Melvin Hay, Donegal High
School, at the 18th Annual
William Nitrauer Rotary
Leaders Camp, to be held
at Messiah College in
Granthem June 12-16. It
was announced by Paul
Hay, the Club’s committee
camp chairman.
One hundred Junior class
members of public, private
and parochial high school
in Adams, Cumberland,
Dauphin, Lancaster, Leb-
banon, Perry and York
counties will participate in
the S-week program of
seminars, lectures and ath-
letic competitions. The four
campers who compile the
best overall record will be
awarded college scholar-
ships upon their graduation
next year.
The main object of this
public service program is to
train the students for
leadership roles in their
respective communities
when they finish their
education. There are more
than 1600 alumni of the
camp, many of whom have
gone on to become leaders
in business and the prof-
fessions. Quite a number
have graduated from An-
napolis, West Point and the
Air Force Academy.
