Jones is the recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy Commendation Medal, the Navy Achievement Medal, the Combat Action Ribbon, the Presidential Unit Ci- tation, the Meritorious Unit Citation and the Viet- namese Cross of Gallantry. In addition to his personal decorations, Col. Jones is entitled to five campaign and service medals. He is married to the former Miss Henrietta Shebora of Uniontown, Pa.
