I was educated in the Mount Joy schools, and graduated from Mount Joy High School - class of 1944. I have been married for twenty-two years to Charles Graham. For twenty-three years I was employed in banking - eleven years in The Union Mount Joy Tax Collector - Republican National Mount Joy Bank and twelve years in The Lancaster County Farmers National Bank (now Na- tional Central Bank). Most recently I was employed as a bookkeeper in a retail store. In all of these positions I was bonded. Over the years 1 have seen treasurer of several organizations - charter member and past treasurer of the Mount Joy Business and Professional Women’s Bruce D. Brown Bruce D. Brown, Repub- lican candidate for tax collector in the Borough of Mount Joy. Mr. Brown is a life-long resident of Mount Joy. He graduated from Mount Joy High School and Williams- port Technical Institute, where he trained for ser- vice as a commercial radio operator in the U.S. Mer- chant Marine. He has been employed by Sears Roebuck & Co. in Lancaster for the past 29 years and has been manag- er of the Hardware De- partment for 24 years. He is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where he has served in many capaci- ties in past year. At present, he serves as Co-Chairman with his wife, Joyce, on the Social Minis- try Committee. He is a member of Lutheran Social Emmy Lou Foley I am a candidate for tax collector on the Republican ticket. I have been a resident of Mount Joy all my life and reside at 12 W. Donegal St., with my parents, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Foley. I want to be your tax collector and could make it my full time job. I work at the Mount Joy Library approximately three hours a day taking care of over- due books, filing, checking out books for Storyhoug, and On Sandra Gingrich I am a local woman involved in community civic activities and have taken the position of the Republi- can ticket to run for Mount Joy Tax Collector in the May 17th Primary. I have been employed for two years for B. Titus Rutt Agency, Inc., as a book- keeper and secretary. I do the payroll and agency books. I am serving as the current President of the Mount Joy Joycee-ettes. 1 am a member of the Wo- mens Republican Club of Lancaster County and a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Mount Joy where I have been a Sunday School teacher. 1 reside at 217 Pinkerton Road, Mount Joy, with my husband, James A., and daughters, Stacey and Stephanie. 1 graduated from Donegal High School in the business course, and. Harrietta Roberts My name is Harrietta M. (Jackie) Roberts. I live at 285 Marietta Avenue in Mount joy. I am twenty- five years old and have lived in Mount Joy for seventeen years. I graduat- ed from Donegal High School and attended Drexel University, Philadelphia, and Millersville State Col lege. I am married to William B. Roberts and am the mother of a two-and-one- half year old son, Alexand- er William. Sewing, sailing and sing- ing -are my favorite hob- bies. | am a member of the Club; treasurer for two years of The Towne Club of Lancaster. At present I am treasurer of the Mount Joy High School Alumni As- sociation, and the Mount Joy Tennis Club. In the fall I will be installed as treasurer of the Red Rose Chapter, Embroiderers Guild of America. I am seeking the job of ‘tax collector because I enjoy the type of bookkeep- ing that is required in this work. I believe all my past Service Commission, East Region.
