The Chiques Co-Ed Vol-
leyball All-stars took two of
the three matches from the
Columbia Y.M.C.A. all-star
team.
The Chiques women de-
feated the Y women in 3
games. The scores do not
show the aggressiveness
shown by the ““Y’’ women.
In the second match, the
“Y”’ men shocked the
Chiques men in the first
game. The Chiques men
came back strong to win
the next two games. In the
third match, the Y.M.C.A.
co-ed team fought hard to
win the third match. Both
teams were quite tired and
pleased with the results of
their first meeting. Hope-
fully the two leagues will
be able to meet again next
year.
Results were as follows:
Women’s Match: 1st
Chiques 15, Y.M.C.A. 1;
2nd 13-15; and 3rd 15-7.
Men's Match: 1st Chi-
ques 10 - Y.M.C.A. 15; 2nd
15-4; and 3rd 15-9.
Co-Ed Match: 1st Chi-
ques 13 - Y.M.C.A. 15; 2nd
15-2; and 3rd 11-15.
