MY AA needs help to keep kids off streets
The Marietta Youth
Athletic Association will
hold its first meeting of
1977 on Thursday, March
10th at 7:30 p.m., at the
Marietta Community
House. The agenda in-
cludes installing new offi-
cers, appointment of re-
gistration committee and
assignment of coaches.
President William Miller
issued this statement: ‘I
want to emphatically state
that our organization, not
unlike other athletic associ-
ations, is suffering from
community apathy. Any or-
ganization, to be continu-
ally effective, needs an in-
flux of new members and
ideas, without which it will
eventually fold up and die.
We need new coaches,
persons to serve on com-
mittees and volunteers to
man concession stands. So
to people reading this

Indoor soccer tourney
On Friday, March 18 at
7:30 p.m., E-town will play
Pequea Valley in the Ist
game of the Donegal In-
door Soccer Tournament.
The 2nd game will be
between Hempfield and
Donegal.
On Saturday the 19th,
again at 7:30, there will be
two more games, a consol-
ation game first, and the
finals.
On Saturday, March 19,
at 7:30 p.m., game 1 will
be a consolation game and
