Lent at Glossbrenner
“For Us...He Healed”’ is
the theme of the third in a
series of Cooperative Lent-
en Services shared by
Glossbrenner United Meth-
odist Church and the Florin
Church of the Brethren.
This service will be held on
Sunday, March 13, 7:30
p.m., at the Florin Church
of the Brethren, Mount
Joy.
The Rev. Robert Ketter-
ing and the Rev. Clair
Wagner, Jr., pastors of the
two churches, will share in
a dialogue sermon on the
theme. The service will
also include testimonies of
healing, prayers for the
sick, and anointing.
Rummage sale
at Marietta UCC
The Women’s Guild of
the United Church of Christ
Waterford Avenue, Mari-
etta, will sponsor a rum-
mage sale and bake sale on
March 18 and 19. On Fri-
day the rummage sale will
be conducted from 9 a.m.
until 6 p.m. The bake and
rummage sales will be held
from 9 a.m. until noon on
Saturday.
Co-chairpersons of the
benefit are Carol Drager
and Janet McMillen.
