Dr. Daniel Shearer, Pro-
gram Director of the Cen-
tral Pennsylvania Confer-
ence of the United Metho-
dist Church, will be the
guest speaker for the first
service which will be held
at the Florin Church of the
Brethren. He will speak on
the theme ‘‘For Us... He
Preached.’”” The Chancel
Choir of Glossbrenner
Church will provide special
music for the service.
Subsequent services will
be March 6 at Glossbren-
ner Church - ‘““For Us...He
Taught’’, March 13 at
Florin Church - ‘“‘For Us...

Nursery care will be pro-
vided for each service.
Youths to take over
St. Mark’s Church
On the first Sunday of
the Lenten season, Febru-
ary 27, 1977, the young
people will be in charge of
the Morning Worship Ser-
vice (10:15 a.m.) at St.
Mark’s United Methodist
Church, Mount Joy.
A Youth Choir will ren-
der an introit and choral
response at the benedic-
tion. Special music will be
supplied by a male trio
consisting of Keith Gep-
hart, Gary Graybill, and
Rob Stoner. Linda Sherk
will play the piano solo at
the offertory.
Robin Miller will lead in
the scripture readings of
the day, and Eric Mummau
will share a witness with
the congregation. The pas-
tor, W. Richard Kohler,
will bring the morning
message and prepare the
people for the church’s
‘“Talent Project’’.
Ushers and greeters for
the day will all be from the
ranks of the church’s
youth. Ray Hershey will be
worship leader.
In the afternoon, at 2:30
p-m., the sanctuary of the
church will be the setting
for a special concert by
‘““The Foundations.”” This
outstanding gospel-group
enjoys a wide reputation
for musical excellence and
inspirational message.
The community is invited
to the concert at an hour
which does not conflict with
the regular hours of wor-
ship. There is no charge.
An offering will be receiv-
ed.
