ORTANT NOTICE For PP&L Customers The coldest winter in thirty years has created an unprecendented natural disaster with hardships much like those suffered from the Agnes flood in 1972. Fuel shortages have resulted requiring emergency conserv- ation measures, including industrial shut-downs with temporary loss of employment for thousands of our customers. At the same time, the record-breaking cold weather has produced significantly higher-than-normal heating and electric bills. PP&L recognizes that some of its customers may find it difficult to pay their most recent electric bills in full by the date shown on their bills. If you have a serious temporary hardship caused by the recent cold weather, PP&L will work out a payment plan with you to fit your individual situation. If you need this special assistance at this time, please call PP&L at the number listed in your telephone directory under Pennsylvania Power & Light Company.
