Zink to address Restoration Assoc. Mrs. Franklin Zink, Mount Joy, co-owner and curator of the Donegal Mills Plantation, will be the quest speaker for the January meeting of . the Marietta Restoration Asso- ciates, at the Marietta Community House on Thursday, 20, at 8 P.M. Mrs. Zink will speak on her restoration of Donegal Mills and the recent exca- vantions by Millersville col- lege students on the grounds surrounding the main house and the mill at the plantation. The stu- dents found more than 2,000 artifacts which are currently being catelogued at the college. The speech will be highlighted with slides. DSA banquet coming The Mount Joy Jaycees will culminate their Jaycee Week Celebration: vith the twentieth annu Jistin- guished Service Award Banquet, Saturday, Janu- ary 22, 6 p.m., at the Mount Joy American Le- gion. A young man, between the age of 18 to 35, from the Mount Joy area, will be recognized for outstanding service to the community and high personal develop- ment. Other community citizens will receive special recognition for their contri- butions. Nominations for the Distinguished Service Award have been received in strict confidence, and the winner selected by a panel of prominent local citizens. Entertainment for the evening will be performed by Kim Lauver, Sue Ma- teer, and Patti Wolfe. The public is invited to attend and support the community recognition of a young man for his contri- butions to the betterment of Mount Joy. PWP to meet Parents Without Partners will meet at 7:45 p.m. Friday, January 21 at the social hall of the Grace Lutheran Church, James and N. Queen Sts., Lan- caster. Father Acri of St. Annes Catholic Church and Rev. Spencer of Akron Metho- dist Church will discuss “The Church and Di- vorce.”’ All single parents, be- cause of death, divorce, separation or unmarried status who have at least one living unmarried child under 21 years of age are invited to attend.
