The Lodge will celebrate its centennial Oct. 1 with a banquet at the Hamilton Club in Lncaster, with the Grand Master and other Grand Lodge officers at- tending. Jay Smith, the new master of the lodge, is a registered professional en- gineer employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. A grad- uate of Manheim Twp. High School, he attended Stevens Trade School and the Penn State Center of Harrisburg. He is a mem- ber of all the Scottish Rite Masonic bodies; the Amer- ican Society of Highway Engineers; and Chiques United Methodist Church, which he serves as youth coordinator on the admin- istrative board and youth Sunday School teacher. He is married to the former Nancy Trout of Marticville, and they have two dought- ers and a son. Candle’ ght Communion planned A New Year's Eve Candlelight Communion Service will be held at Glossbrenner United Meth- odist Church, Mount Joy, Dance Delta Phi Eta Honor Sorority, Millersville State College, plans a 28-hour Dance Marathon on March 11 and 12 for the benefit of the American Heart As- sociation, Lancaster Penn- svivania Chapter.
