Fire Chief Kenneth D. Geesey reported that the company responded to three calls in the month of November. This brought the total for the year up to 49. To date a total of 625 firemen and 115 fire police have answered calls for a total of 2,050 hours in ser- vice. Tamkin wins academic honor Ronald Warren Tamkin has qualified for the Presi- dent’s Club at Ohio In- stitute of Technology. This honor is awarded to those students who have main- tained a scholastic point average of 3,5 or better, out of a possible 4.0. Ronald graduated from Donegal High School, June "4, 1974. Xmas puppet show at E-town Library A Christmas puppet show will be presented Sunday, December 12, at 3:00 p.m. at the Eliza- bethtown Puplic Library. Two stories for young viewers will be presented. The pet goose Petunia works very hard to save her new friend from becoming Christmas dinner in PET- UNIA’S CHRISTMAS. With a little help from her friends KATIE NO POCKETS, an ingenious kangaroo mother, without a pouch, finds an excellent way to carry her baby. Both puppet shows are based on favorite story book characters. The puppets, puppet stage, and sound record- ings have all been loaned to the Elizabethtown Public Library by the Lancaster County Public Library. Admission to the pro- gram is free.
