The annual congregation-
al dinner meeting at Zion
Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Marietta, was held
Thursday night in Fellow-
ship Hall. The full course
turkey banquet was pre-
pared by the Lutheran
Church Women.
Ben Thompson, Lay
Chairman, reported on the
Vietenamese Fund with
which the local church,
with nine area churches,
sponsored two families.
Michael Myers, treasurer,
gave a report of finances.
The Rev. W. R. May,
conducted the election of
four councilmen, James
Baker, Hiram Mowrer,
Larry Stout, and Vincent
Ruby, who will assume
office, January 1, 1977.
Additional councilmen are:
Joan Baker, Ben Thomp-
son, Arthur Seigler, Mrs.
Jacob Lindemuth, Ron
Morris, Russel Shirk,
Michael Myers, and James
Rider.
The proposed budget of
$48,560 was adopted as
presented.

will sing Distler’s ‘Praise
to the Lord” and Willan’s
‘Sing to the Lord of Har-
vest.” There will be con-
gregational participation
and interaction.
An offering will be re-
ceived this year for the
support of the CONTACT
program which serves the
Lancaster area with many
types of personal ministry
on a 24 hour a day basis.

sons are anticipated for this
annual celebration of praise
and Thanksgiving, SO
