Ralph Millers honored at party
A surprise 25th wedding
anniversary party was held
Saturday, November 13, for
and Ruth T.
Miller, at their home on
Fairview Avenue, Marietta.
The party was by their
daughter, Jane Elizabeth.
The Millers were married
on November 17, 1951, -at
the Little Church Around
the Corner in New York
City.
Ralph was born in Lan-
caster County, the son of
Mabel Miller. Neffsville,
and the late Earl P. Miller.
He graduated from Frank-
lin and Marshall College
and was an F.B.I. agent for
30 years. He is now
retired.

Smith of Mount Joy. Ac-
cording to Mrs. Smith,
her shingle-covered wall
never needed painting not
cleaning. There is nothing
sloppy about Mrs. Smith’s
housekeeping. Unfortunate-
ly, we can’t say the same
for our reporter’s brain.
Ruth was born in Birm-
ingham, Alabama, daugh-
ter of the late Rufus T. and
Ruth T. Ashe. She gradu-
ated form Birmingham
baptist Hospital School of
Nursing.
The Millers lived in New
York City for approximatly
2S years. They returned to
Lancaster County in 1969
when Ralph retired from
active duty as an F.B.L
agent. They have resided
in Marietta since July 1971.

Greg is a ‘71 graduate
of Donegal High School
and attended Mount Joy
Vo-Tech. He is scheduled
for enlistment in the regu-
lar Air Force January 17,
1977. Upon graduation
from the Air Force's six
weeks basic training course
he will receive technical
training in the General
the First Reformed U.C.C.
in Lancaster, were Ralph is
a deacon.
Locally the Millers are
members of the Marietta
Restoration Associates.

Marietta Branch Auxiliary
to the Columbia Hospital
and is Republican commit-
teewoman for the second
ward. Ralph is a member
of the Marietta Boro Au-
‘thority and the board of the
Salvation Army.
