Mrs. Richard Ryder Mary Nagy Richard Jay The marriage of Miss Mary Helen Nagy to Mr. Richard Jay Ryder took place Saturday, October 16, at 2 p.m., at the Gloss- brenner United Methodist Church, Mount Joy, with the Rev. Clair L. Wagner officating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Nagy, 170 South River Street, Maytown. She was graduated from Donegal High School 1976. She is employed by Donegal In- dustries, Mount Joy. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Ryder, 701 West Main Street, Mount Joy. He was graduated from Donegal High School and Mount Joy Vo-Tech Car- pentry course 1973. He is employed by Elwood Buck- walter Builder, Mount Joy. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of ala mode over taffeta. The bodice was adorned with cluny lace and seeded pearls. The long fitted sleeves were of cluny lace and had seed pearl highlights. The prin- cess style gown flowed into a cathedral length train with a deep flounce of cluny lace. Her fingertip length veil was held by a camelot head piece of taf- feta trimmed with venise lace and seed pearls. Miss Kathy Ney, Mount Joy, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were: Miss Lisa Powell and Leah Powell both of Mount Joy. Serving as best man was Mr. Bruce Ryder, Syracuse NY, brother of the groom.
