at the Schock Senior Center
in Mount Joy these days,
as the participants there
prepare for their part in
the upcoming Bicentennial
Field Day that is being
sponsored by the Lancaster
County Office of Aging for
their Senior Centers
throughout the County.
Approximately 300 people
are expected to attend the
event which will be hosted
by the Lititz Senior Center
at the Lititz Springs Park,
Friday, September 24.

goat milking contest, bike
riding, displays, and a .
photographic event. The
Mount Joy contribution will
consist of five booths at
which Senior Citizens can
test their skills and a
general, fun-for-all game.
Games and scorecards
are currently under careful
preparation. Any person
age 60 or over who would
like to be involved in this
Field Day or any of the
other varied activities that
the Center offers may con-
