A goodwill committee
has been appointed by the
president to visit the sick
and shut-ins of the con-
gregation. On October 14th
a membership social is
being planned by the

Assemblies of God Church,

Road, Marietta on Wed-
nesday, September 22, at 7
p.m.
Prior to going to the field
she helped to pioneer three
churches in the Potomac
District. She operated a
maternity clinic and a
general clinic in the north-
ern part of the country. She
was also the spiritual
advisor for the five church-
es of Ghana.

A special Youth Rally
will be held at Congrega-
tional Bible Church, Rt.
441, Marietta, at 7 p.m. on
Sunday, September 19, fea-
turing Bruce Burkholder
from Hershey and a gospel
music team from Messiah
College.
Burkholder is the direct-
or of Genesis Ministries,
Inc., a specialized work of
youth rallies, church
evangelism, and Christian
education projects. He has
spoken to many youth con-
ferences and retreats
throughout Central PA.
Following his talk, Mr.
Burkholder will meet in-
formally with young people
for questions and discus-
sion. Refreshments will be
served in the Fellowship
Hall.
SELAH! is a music
ministry team from Mes-
siah College that performs
selections by Ralph Car-
michael, Bill Gaither,
Andrae Crouch, Don Marsh
and Jimmy Owens. Mem-
bers are chosen from the
student body by audition.
The group has just com-
pleted a summer tour and
now sings in area churches
during the fall.
All area youth are invited
to the service, which is
being directed by James
Gish of Mount Joy, who
serves as director of youth
activities at the church.
CHIQUES U.M. CHURCH
The Chiques U. M.
Church will present a craft
and hobby day on Satur-
day, September, 25 from 10
a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the
church. The church is
