drive
this Sat.
The Donegal Band Par-
ents Club will sponsor a
scrap paper drive on Satur-
day, September 18 from 8
to 10 a.m.
Paper may be taken to
these points in the three
communities:
Maytown Elementary,
Riverview Elementary,
and or Donegal High
School.
For large amounts to be
picked up by truck the
following persons may be
contacted before the 18th:
Maytown, Marietta area—

and Mount Joy area— Earl

The next collection will
be November 13.

Gardens
bus trip
Hazel Baker
Members of the Pioneer
Fire Company Auxiliary,
Marietta, are planning a
bus trip to Longwood
Gardens on October Oth.
The group will leave the
fire hall at 1 p.m. The
tickets will be sold on a
first come first serve basis.
Reservations may be placed
by calling 426-3302 or
426-1622.
Photos of old Marietta
are now on sale and can be
purchased singly or by
album. Those persons in-
terested may call 426-1622.
Other projects planned
by the auxiliary are a
candle sale starting the end
of September. The candles
will be decorative and holi-
day trimmed. A pretzel
sale to begin November
Ist. The group will serve a
lunch at Wyeth Labora-
tories on September 29th.
