BENJAMIN WALK Benjamin Walk, 68, Mount Joy R1, died in Lancaster Osteopathic Hospital, Thursday at 8:40 p.m., after an illness of two years. Born in East Donegal Township, he was a son of the late Truman and Alice Eyer Walk. He was a veteran of World War 1I, having served in the South Pacific Theater. For many years he was employed at a Lancaster tobacco warehouse, and he worked on his own farm. He was a member of the American Legion in Mount Joy. The last of his immediate family, he is survived by nieces and nephews. MAUD S. GAINOR Mrs. Maud S. Gainor, 79, of 44 W. Donegal St., Mount Joy died early Wednesday at Lancaster General Hospital. She had been ill for the past three months. Mrs. Gainor was the widow of Maris L. Gainor, who died in 1966. She was the daughter of the late Joseph N. and Jennie Risser Strickler, Rapho Township. Mrs. Gainor be- longed to St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Mount Joy, and was a member of the Sisterhood Bible Class and the women’s group at the church. Surviving Mrs. Gainor are a daughter, Erma G., wife of Richard E. Yeakel, Lexington R2, VA; two grandchildren; one sister, Mary, wife of Victor Longenecker, Elizabeth- town; and four brothers, Paul R. Strickler, Mount Joy; J. Risser Strickler, Quarryville; Frank R. Strickler, Hershey, and Ross R. Strickler, Willow Street. MRS. NORMA MARCH Word has been received of the death on August 16, of Mrs. Norma Pierce March of 160 Concord Street, Nashua, New Hampshire. A former resident of Mount Joy, she is survived by her husband, Elwin A. March; a daughter, Mrs. W. Bradford (Helen), Mass.; a son, Dr. Philip E. March, of Nashua and five grandchildren.
