Page 16 - SUSQUEHANNA TIMES Backyard carnival to be held in Mount Joy Tracey Ross, 22S South Delta Street, Mount Joy, is planning a carnival for the benefit of the Muscular Dystrophy fund. The carni- val will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Tracey's home tomorrow, Thursday, August 12. Rain date will be Friday, August 13. Tracey, who is 10 years old and a student at Seiler School, will be assisted by a host of friends. Annual block party held on Poplar St. The eleventh annual block party for residents of Poplar Street, Mount Joy, was held Sunday, August 1, at 4 p.m. on the lawn of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Heisey. Camp-out held by Mt. Joy Cub Scouts An overnight camp-out of Pack 136 Mount Joy Cub Scouts was held at Angle Farm on Pinkerton Road, Mount Joy, July 30 and 31, 1976. Flag ceremony was held Saturday morning. Committee meeting held for Cub Scouts The first committee meeting of the Mount Joy Cub Scout Pack 136 was held at Sico Park, Mount Joy. Next committee meeting will be held September 14, 1976 at the home of Shirley Good, Zigler Avenue, Mount Joy at 7 p.m. On August 25, 1976 at 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., a cub scouts game day will be held at Sico Park, Mount Joy. Aug. 30 deadline for school registration The Donegal School Dis- trict is encouraging all students planning to enter district schools for the first time on September 8, 1976 to register in their assigned building as soon as pos- sible and before August 30, 1976. Each building office is open daily, and registra- tions will help in proper pupil assignment at the beginning of the school year. It will also be appreciated if any students not planning to return to school this year would arrange withdrawal before August 30, 1976.
