Columbia Spy of Dec. 12,
1874.
Pretty Good—On Thurs-
day morning a nice young
man from Columbia, who is
noted for his remarkable
fondness of the race
Lancaster train for a long
and tiresome ride to Phila-
delphia.
He saw to his delight the
only vacant seat in the
coach was by the side of a
young lady acquaintance.
He reached for that seat
with joyous strides, and her
eyes answered his delight-
ed looks. But just as he got
there, an elderly party from
the other end of the car
waltzed up the aisle and
course, as well as love for dropped into the coveted seat
