July 28, 1976 4-H honors Mrs. John H. Nissley Mrs. John H. Nissley, of Mount Joy R.D.#1, was honored ‘at the 4-H Round- up on July 21 at St. Mark’s Fellowship Hall. Mrs. Nissley received a commemorative plate show- ing Donegal Church for her 29 years of dedication to 4-H programs. Marietta Sr. League picnic Aug. 2 The Marietta Senior League will hold their annual picnic at Sam Lewis State Park, on Monday afternoon, August 2nd. Raindate Tuesday, August 3rd. Donegal Boat Club corn roast The second corn roast will be held by the East Donegal Boat Club at noon on August 14th at the club. Members and their families are invited to attend. Anyone interested should call George Emswiler at 426-3704 or John Meszaros at 426-3521 or sign up at the bulletin board at the club. Corn on the cob, corn soup and beverages will be provided. Those attending should bring cutlery. “lI wanted to give back what 1 had received from 4-H as a child,” Mrs. Nissley said. She has been a club member, teen leader and group leader in the club. For 11 years she has been over-all coordinator for the Mount Joy area 4-H.
