Arnold, May- town, was elected president of the Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 board, last Wednesday night. The 1.U. 13 is a service organization for the 22 school districts in the two-county area. Mr. Arnold is currently vice president of the Donegal School Board. He has served on that board for nine years. He has represented Donegal on the LU. 13 board for three years, formerly serving as vice president. One of his concerns as new president, he said, will be that the 1.U. work in the home school districts ‘“‘benefits the boards’’ and that it does not ‘‘branch into other areas that are too cumbersome.”’ Arnold and his wife, Loretta, live in Maytown with their youngest daugh- ter, Bonnie.
