Commemorative plate awarded to Nick Agouridis by Mount Joy JCs The Mount Joy Jaycees have presented their com- monorative plate to Nick Agouridis. The presentation was made in recognition of all the support which Nick has given to Jaycees, Florin and Friendship Fire Co’s, and the Athletic Associa- tion. In a written statement, the Jaycees said, ‘The Jaycees fell that the atti- tude which Nick displays towards the Community and its organizations, is the same which many other citizens of the county have shared over the passed 200 years and helped to make this country what it is today.” Jaycees design Bicentennial plate The Mount Joy Jaycees in commemorating their 25th anniversary, have de- signed and put into limited productions a Bicentennial Mount Joy Plate. The plate, which was designed by Jeff Brown, is decorated with a Three masted ship and the outline of the United States. The words ‘‘Mount Joy-one hundred twenty five years,”’ are engraved on the rim. The plate was made by the Wilton Brass Co. of Columbia-in their Mount Joy plant. It sells for $12.00 and can be ordered from Jeff Brown at Jack Horner Shoes or by calling 653-4393. Due to limited production plates will be sold on a first come basis. Plates can also be seen at Greer’s, Koser’'s and Smith’s Sporting Goods, and Tastee Freeze. Any ex-member of the Jaycees are asked to leave their current address when or- dering. Reese named marketing manager Michael T. Reese The Sico Company of Mount Joy, the largest U.S. distributor of Citgo petroleum products, has named a Landisville man to the post of marketing manager, Sico president Robert P. McGinley an- nounced this week. Michael T. Reese assumes the marketing manager position at Sico after having served as the company’s wholesale sales representative since De- cember 1971. In his new post Reese will be responsible for sales and related matters in the following departments: Wholesale Marketing, Re- tail Marketing, Service Station Marketing, Equip- ment Marketing, and Ad- vertising. He will also re- tain the duties of wholesale sales representative until his replacement is named. Reese joined The Sico Company in 1971, after two years as a retail marketing representative for ARCO. Prior to that, Reese was a social studies teacher and athletic coach at Lancaster Catholic High School from 1964 to 1969. A graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School, Reese also holds a bache- lor’s degree in business administration from Frank- lin and Marshall College. A past president of the Landisville P.T.O., Reese resides with his wife Sally and children Tom and Beth at 706 Southview Drive, Landisville. Donegal Democrats plan meeting July 15 An organizational meet- ing of the ‘‘Donegal Demo- cratic Club’ will be held on Thursday, July 1S, at 7 p.m. at the home of John Matoney, S66 North Angle Street, Mount Joy.
