Cole, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Edward Charles, Marietta, was recently ap- pointed Assistant Director of Speech Pathology at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital, Michigan. Jill, a 1965 Donegal High School graduate, is an Alumnus of Sullins College, VA; the University of Maryland; and Temple University where she earn- ed her Masters Degree in 1971. In 1972, Jill received her Certificate of Clinical Competence. Her back- ground includes the former position of a research associate at the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic, a Language Clinician at the Special School District of St. Louis County, Kerks- ville, Missouri and former Guest Lecturer for the Temple University Gradu- ate School. Mrs. Cole is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association, the American Dr. Graham to head dept. at Penn State Dr. Robert J. Graham of _ Mount Joy has been named the new Program Head in the Humanities Department at Penn State Capitol Campus, replacing Dr. Nancy Tischler, who is returning to full-time teach- ing. Dr. Graham received his B.S. in English-Education from East Stroudsburg State College, graduating with honors in 1957. He received his Master's de- gree and Ph.D. in English from the University of PA. Prior to coming to Capi- tol Campus, Dr. Graham was an assistant professor of English at Rider College, Trenton State College and Penn State at University Park. Dr. Graham has done extensive work in human relations and in the period 1966-68 he directed a four state study of federally supported programs for the disadvantaged under a Title I grant from the U.S. Office of Education. Dr. Graham has also taught and developed experiment- al curricula for English and American Studies at several high schools in PA and New Jersey.
