Marietta High alumni hold yearly banquet Members of the Marietta High School Alumni Assoc- iation held their annual dinner meeting at Mr. Lacy’s Lounge, Saturday night. Joseph Carroll III narrated a film taken in 1937 of scenes in Marietta. Carroll, a member of the class of 42, served in the Army Air Corps in WWII as a pilot of a B26 and is accredited with 47 combat missions. He holds a BS degree in electrical engin- eering and joined RCA in 1950 as a manufacturing engineer. He is currently employed by the same company as a manager of quality and reliability assurance. Title of his pre- sentation was ‘‘Nostalgic Journey.”’ William Miller, president extended greetings to those attending, and the Invoca- tion was offered by Harold Shireman. Guests of the Association were members of the class of 1926 and 1951.
