Supervisors reject sewer plan At a special meeting on May 25, the Mount Joy Township Supervisors re- jected a plan to pay $74,000 to the Mount Joy Borough Sewer Authority to help expand the treat- ment plant in the borough. The money, it was ex- plained, would pay for treatment of up to 60,000 gallons of sewage if a small section of Mount Joy Beal Township were to hook in to the borough plant. The supervisors said the money was not available since no provision was made in this year’s budget for it. Several residents of the township objected to the expenditure at this time claiming ‘‘there is no guarantee that the service would ever be necessary.” & Mummua graduate F & M Two students from Mount Joy have received B.A. degrees from F & M College.
