Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Brown, R.D.#1, Mount Joy, was graduated from India- na University of Pennsylva- nia on Sunday, May 16, 1976 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. While attending Indiana, Dennis majored in Market- ing and minored in Econo- mics. He also was active in both the Marketing Club and the Economics Club. He is a 1972 graduate of Donegal High School. Keith Smith wins 1st Blough scholarship Elizabethtown College’s Department of Music has presented one of the first three Grace Blough Music Scholarships to Keith Smith of Mount Joy, a freshman majoring in music educa- tion. Miss Blough, longtime merchant in downtown Eli- zabethtown, recently estab- lished the scholarships. Smith is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin H. Smith. S. Zimmerman graduates Elizabethtown College’s Department - of Education has announced that Sharon Zimmerman of Mount Joy is a 1976 recipient of the Ruth Eshelman Althouse Scholarship. Miss Zimmerman, a ju- nior, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Zimmer- man. Qualifications for the Althouse scholarship are sound scholarship, interest in teaching and creativity. Swim team parents to hold first meeting The first meeting of the Mount Joy Swim Team Parents Club will be held Thursday, June 3, 8 p.m. at the Mount Joy pool. All Free blood pressure tests discontinued The free blood pressure checks held at Sloan’s Pharmacy Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. will be discontinued for the months of June and July but will be resumed in August.
