Hockey club
meets Weds.
The Norlanco Club Hoc-
key Team will begin its third
season of play with an
important meeting on
Wednesday, April 28, at
7:00 p.m. in the Home
Economics room of the W.I.
Beahm Junior High School.
Last year’s team mem-
bers are urged to continue
their support by attending
this meeting.
Prospective members are
remimded that club hockey
is an opportunity for women
who are beyond high school
age and are not presently
playing on a college team to
continue playing hockey.
Players from the Eliza-
bethtown, Manheim,
Marietta, Maytown, and
Mount Joy areas are wel-
come to participate. The
club’s home field is Donegal
High School where games
are played on Saturdays and
Sundays beginning in Sep-
tember.
Presently, there are
approximately nine club
teams in the counties of
Lancaster, Lebanon, York,
and Berks which are in the
process of forming an
intercounty league for the
1976 season.
This year’s Norlanco Club
would like to initate non-
playing memberships along
with the regular playing
memberships.

Custodians will police the
park and those who caused
damage will be refused
admittance, if cooperation is
denied.
Faulty wiring at the park
will be replaced in the future
at the request of the JC’s.
Fire Chief Kenneth
Geesey was commended by
Councilman Dave White for
the fast action of members
of Pioneer Fire Company at
a recent emergency fire.
Permission was granted the
residents of the 200 block of
West Market Street to con-
duct a block sale on May 1.
Rain date will be May 8.
The Marietta Lion’s Club
were welcomed to place red
rose bushes in the square
plot. This is in conjunction
with the ‘‘plant a rose in
76" program endorsed by
the Lancaster Garden Club.
A Memorial Day Parade
“will be held on May 31.
Sponsored by the Veterans
of Foreign Wars, the line of
march will form at River-
view School, go West on
East Market to Gay Street;
north on Gay Street to the
cemetery and disband.
