Deaths
ROY M. LUCAS
Roy M. Lucas, 61, died
unexpectedly at his home,
51S East Market Street,
Marietta, Tuesday morning.
He had been under the care
of a physician.
He was the husband of
Ola C. Zink Lucas. Born in
Washington Boro, he was
the son of the late William
and Lena Snyder Lucas, Sr.
He retired in 1969 as an
employee of the former
Olmstead Air Force Base,
Middletown. He was also
custodian for the St. John’s
Episcopal Church, Marietta,
of which he was a member.
He was also a member of
the Foresters of America,
~ Columbia.
In addition to his widow,
he is survived by one
aughter, Darlene, wife of
Dallas Hoffmaster, Mari-
etta; two grandchildren and
two brothers, Clayton and
Levern Lucas, both of
Columbia.
JONAS B. BRUBAKER
Jonas Bear Brubaker, 86,
of 382 Donegal Springs
Road, Mount Joy, died un-
expectedly Monday evening
at his home.
A retired farmer, Bru-
baker was a member of
Mount Joy Mennonite
Church. He was the hus-
band of the late Fannie
Hostetter Brubaker, who
died in 1962.
Born in Mount Joy, he
was the son of the late
Martin K. and Annie Bear
Brubaker.
He is survived by a son, J.
Herbert Brubaker, Mount
Joy R2; two grandchildren;
three great-grandchildren,
and two sisters, Mrs. Ruth
Brandt, Manheim, and Mrs.
Anna Vesta Grissinger,
Mount Joy.
